John-Robert Kelly
Founding partner
A founding partner of Lex Start Lawyers, John chairs our Board of Directors. With 20 years of practice and armed with the Quebec, Ontario and Paris Bars, John’s expertise extends way beyond Quebec. His fluency in English, French and Portuguese allows him to serve a diverse clientele, both locally and internationally.
Gilles de Saint-Exupéry
Founding partner
Gilles is a member of the Quebec Bar and holds a master’s degree in IT law. He teaches law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Montreal and is involved with several entrepreneurial organizations. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Garage Légal and SAJE Montreal. On a day-to-day basis Gilles is the CEO of Plateforme Lex Start.
Erwan Jonchères
Founding partner
Following a Master 1 in business law at the University of Paris V Descartes, Erwan obtained an LL.M in IT law from the University of Montreal. Admitted to the Quebec Bar in 2018, his practice focuses mainly on startups, data protection and blockchain. Erwan helps companies carry their technology projects while limiting legal risks. He is fluent in French and English. Don’t hesitate to contact him, you’ll see he’s nice!

Fady Zadah
Lawyer
Fady takes interest in many fields of law such as contractual law, business law, corporate law, commercial law, and labour law. Being fluently bilingual, he also aspires to offer legal translation services, namely contract translation, from French to English and vice versa. He aims to support entrepreneurs in their endeavours and help them to ensure their business complies with legal requirements.
