The service agreement is a contract that frames the relationship between a service provider/self-employed person and his/her client. This contract is useful because it sets the extent of each party’s obligations and avoids surprises.
It describes, in other words, the services that will have to be rendered, the terms of remuneration of the service provider, the duration of the contract, the terms of its termination etc. In addition, this contract differs from the employment agreement because it is not subject to the legal requirements for hiring an employee since there is no subordination between an employee and an employer.
