There are two types of register updates: annual and current. The annual update declaration must be made every year. It consists of declaring to the registrars certain changes that have occurred within your company over the past year. Even if there have been no changes, it is still mandatory, and its purpose is to indicate that there have been no changes. The current update declaration is mandatory when you make certain changes to your company outside the annual update period that, by law, must be declared. It must be filed within 30 days of the changes.
Updating, whether annual or current, requires, on the one hand, the filing of a declaration with the relevant government corporate registrars, and, on the other hand, written and signed resolutions attesting to the approval of the changes, to be recorded in the Company’s minute book.
